The Planning and Economic Development Department of the Town of Colonie has initiated a unique process to plan for the 10 miles of shoreline along the Mohawk River. Known as a Countryside Exchange, the program is being guided through a partnership with the Glynwood Center of Cold Spring, New York and a Local Organizing Committee (LOC) comprised of residents, historians, conservationists, recreationists, planners and others interested in the Mohawk's future.
