Canalway Trail Association of New York

The Canalway Trails Association of New York (CTANY) is a statewide organization of dedicated people who are committed to the development and maintenance of the Canalway Trail along the entire New York State Canal System. The association is organized into three tiers, a board of directors, which deals with statewide issues and the management of the organization; Regional Canalway Trail Groups, which manage and are concerned with a certain geographical region of the trail; and Local volunteer groups or Adopt-a-Trail programs which deal with a smaller (less than 10 miles) section of the trail and participate in "hands-on" issues.
